Dear Colleagues

On behalf of the Board of Trustees of the Guidelines International Network (G-I-N), the local host Therapeutic Guidelines Ltd, and the Scientific Committee we extend a warm invitation for you to attend the 11th G-I-N Conference that will be held in Melbourne, Australia, on 20-23 August 2014.

G-I-N is a global organization whose mission is to lead, strengthen and support collaboration and research within the guideline development, adaptation, and implementation community. This annual Conference will be held in the exciting, state-of-the-art Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre located on the banks of the Yarra River in central Melbourne.

The Conference theme “Creation and Innovation: Guidelines in the Digital Age” will be addressed through plenary presentations, workshops, oral and poster presentations and much more. The conference will provide a unique opportunity to learn and share knowledge and experiences regarding innovative approaches to guideline development, adaptation, implementation, and integration into electronic systems of care.

Late August in Melbourne is mild Spring-time weather. Melbourne is a modern, progressive multicultural society renowned for sport, food, entertainment, culture and shopping! It is the heart of tourism in south-east Australia, with fabulous sights within an hour or two of the city centre.

Why not stay on to see Sydney, the Great Barrier Reef, Uluru, Kakadu or the island State of Tasmania on your way from Melbourne? Decide early and make GIN 2014 one of your great life experiences.

We look forward to welcoming you to Melbourne and the beautiful Land Down Under.
